Beautiful backpack! I love the sheer number of pockets in this thing. My only critique is the lack of laptop sleeve- that or the one provided is simply too small for my laptop, but otherwise I'm very happy with the bag! It's perfect for lugging all my art supplies to and from uni.
Julie J.
It is very spacious and sturdy. The
“Bag of holding” backpack lives up to it’s name. It hold everything I need and then more. I plan on giving one to both my kids(we are all avid gamers).
Andrew A.
A beautifully crafted pack, perfect for a trip down the Sword Coast
Dennis L.
This was a Bday gift for our party's artificer. It's amazing.
Super jealous I didn't get one for myself. Tons of pockets and it's made of heavy duty cotton canvas. Seems like it'll last through a few epic adventures!
Mackenzie S.
I would recommend getting it. It looks good and holds a ton.
Matthew F.
Exactly what I needed to haul all my dm stuff!
Shannon Y.
Love the bag it's exactly what I needed for game night with the DnD crew. Unfortunately I won't be purchasing anything else from D20 collective until they use somebody else for shipping. USPS is terrible and never seems to be on time with any of my packages. So from now on I will only order from someone who ships FedEx or UPS.
Nathaniel W.
I carry it everyday for school, and plan to carry it everywhere else! I love that the buttons are magnetic, there's so many so my initial thought was that resecuring this bag would be cumbersome. I only close about half the buttons since I have to go in and out of it often and I don't feel like its unsecure. It has a good shape whether it's full or not. There's lots of pockets, some with zippers, it really makes organizing different items easy. It can really hold a lot.
My only real complaint is the backstraps. Even with the straps fully taut, the bag hangs low resting on my lowback and glutes rather than my upper back which I'm used to and find more comfortable. I don't think I could run wearing it without hoisting it up by pulling the straps down and holding them down, removing the use of my hands. So I don't think it would really be comfortable for hiking, fighting, adventuring in general. Maybe walking. Not sure how I feel about that part yet tbh.. Looks damn cool though!

I chose this picture because it describes best how large this backpack is.
Inside this backpack are nine D&D books. Dice tower made out of LEGO.
A small milk bottle (355ml) holding 8 sets of dice (56 dice total)
A minifig
An erasable map
A pencil case holding 7 pencils, 2 erasers and 3 cannisters of extra lead
A character notebook (bought off Etsy)
A laptop
Wallet
Car Keys.
I would never carry all this (it weighed 41 pounds) but I wanted to see if I COULD.
I can.
When I put it on and pulled the shoulder straps they felt firm and stayed tight. Even with 40 pounds of books.
The canvas is thick, double stiched.
What you can't see is that there are 6 pockets inside (2 of them zippered) ranging in size from holding a wallet to holding a laptop (or back pad).
I stalked this purchase for a year, read all the reviews and had a very high expectation and it still was better than i hoped.
By the way the D20 patch you see in one of the pictures is on an interior zipper pocket and is about 2.5" square. I thought I would rip that puppy off as being gaudy but it's tucked nicely on the inside and looks great. Keeping it!
I give it 5 out of 5 adventurers living their best life!
Sam M.
This bag exceded my expectations, I love that it has a lot of pockets and it has a lot of space as well.

My whole dnd party and people who don’t get it love it and I’m happy with how fast it shipped and the quality. Definitely worth the price!
Malia G.
I recently started playing D&D with some friends. I went all out with buying books and notebooks and fun supplies. I also made a dice tower out of materials around the house. It isn't huge or anything but I don't want to damage it in a smaller backpack and I got sick of having to carry things. Anyway, this backpack fits EVERYTHING and has room to spare. I absolutely love it. I also plan to use it on a trip I have to take this summer. I literally couldn't be happier. Worth the buy for sure.
Marco R.
Shipping was fast and product arrived vacuum sealed. Great bag, SO MUCH ROOM! Seriously, there are pockets in the pockets. The quality seems great, comfortable straps and secure closures. My only critique (and it's a small one) is that it doesn't have structure, as most backpacks do- like a stiff portion that sits on your back- but this could easily be remedied with a little DIY or by carrying enough books. I'm really excited for the adventures I'll have with this bag!
Nicholas M.
I love this backpack! It is make of a sturdy material, with enough pockets to hold all of my standard DnD items, with lots of room for more.
Myla M.
So happy with this purchase! The bag is very sturdy and the perfect size for holding all your D&D gear. Seriously, it's so big. Definitely recommend!
Kyle I.
It's a backpack. It holds things. It was pretty comfortable when I took it on a day hike.
Nick L.
This backpack rules: it has a ton of space, with lots of different compartments that make it easy to organize and find smaller objects that would otherwise likely get lost. Love the adjustable straps as well!
Lori S.
❤ Christmas Present for my son. Can't wait to see his face when he gets it
Mary H.
Bought this for my son for Christmas so I can't really write a review but I'm sure he'll love it.
Devon G.
Fantastic and HUGE backpack is everything I hoped it would be! I love it!
Jean P.
Hello.
Bag is as expected. It looks nice and sturdy. Finishing touches are great.
I love it !
Nate W.
I didn't realize (or read?) that the buckles were more for aesthetics than function, they are attached to the bag with a magnet. This is actually much more practical, making this my handy haversack rather than bag of holding. Very spacious for all the geekery.
Dillon R.
I absolutely love the look and style of the Backpack of Holding. The thick canvas struck is tough and durable and will hold for many adventures to come. Highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to travel the land like an hero in an epic quest!
Leah J.
Bought this for my husband and oldest to take to their D&D nights. It's perfect, as it allows him to keep track of both of their sets of books, dice and other sundry items.
Jennifer C.
This is a quality backpack made with solid materials. Lots of pockets and hidden pockets. Magnetic snaps under leather straps to go along with rivet snaps. Well worth the price and would definitely buy again.
Richard B.
I got the Bag of Holding because my old backpack from high school finally started falling apart, and I wanted to get something a little nerdy (but not super overtly) for myself. It's got so much space and so many pockets hidden all over! The material feels really nice and durable, and I'm looking forward to using it once I'm able to travel again.
I've got a 1L Nalgene water bottle and it juuust fits in the side pockets (and can still barely snap the buttons over it)!
Dale C.
Looks beautiful and highly functional would recommend this to any adventurer out there plenty of space for books, dice trays, card boxes and the like!
Ruth W.
My son was desperate to have this so I bought it for him and it is perfect. Totally as described. Nice quality. Good value.
Kaelyn C.
This thing is gigantic. I'll be taking it camping to see how much it really holds, but it holds my gaming stuff in just the auxiliary pockets. I can bring a jacket to game night easily, which is always a plus when the DM likes to keep his apartment a similar temperature to an ice box.
Evan R.
Hands down the best bag I own for games and books. Fits a ludicrous number of games or books, folders, and other supplies. Durable, looks good, comfy. Only wish there was an Olive Drab color option.
Rose W.
I now own two of these. You can stuff so much into one and not fear of something popping, tearing, or breaking. I can put away everything I need for a long weekend trip and still have room. It's perfect for cons and simple travels.
Brent C.
Love it! Got it for my girlfriend back in 2019 and it's been our go-to for pretty much all our outings.
For dnd or hiking this bag is the best!
Fran A.
The bag is wonderful and something I would definitely use if I were going on a long weekend trip to somewhere with how much your can store in this! Not been able to use it for that for obvious reasons but I most certainly will when the chance arises~!
Ryan S.
I went looking through a lot of bags for my gaming needs. I am so happy I went with this one. It has that old school look while having plenty of room for everything I need and looking rugged enough to last. Super happy with my bag.
James O.
I got this to replace another Bag of Holding and I have to say, putting one inside the other wasn't as cracked up as they made it.
This bag has a lot of room and as many pockets as they could reasonably put. It feels durable, like it will be around for a bit. I've been told it looks like I'm about to go on an adventure when I wear the bag.
Joshua D.
When I saw the pictures from reviews of the bag, I was pretty impressed by the capacity and the look, so I decided to order it. When I received it (a rather speedy delivery too) and opened the package, I was blown away at how big it was empty. I put it side by side with another backpack of mine, which already had a laptop, docking station, keyboard and other odds and end in it. Honestly (I did not try this...yet) I think I can fit that entire backpack into the Bag of Holding, with a little room to spare *no tears into the Astral Plane expected.
Bryan K.
the Backpack of holding is great for not only a player, but it holds everything I need when DM'ing :)
Brilliant fot the casual or dedicated player/DM.
Darien H.
This bag is LARGE. When they said it could hold a plethora of books, they weren't kidding. I received this bag right before needing to travel, and it was able to fit three days of clothes, two pairs of shoes, and more. Pretty much held everything I needed for the trip. It's good quality too, I don't have to worry about it tearing or being damaged anytime soon.
Dan S.
This is a superb backpack. Good sturdy canvas, lots of space, lots of handy pockets, looks really good. Makes a great school backpack as well. Highly recommend it.
Craig S.
I bought this during the crazy rush of Holiday shopping. It came in with no problems and the product is great. Strong materials that feel great when you are loading up and have had more than a few people look on with jealousy of it. I would happily point anyone here to purchase this great bag of holding.
Joshua P.
It’s a very spacious bag perfect for anyone that brings many things to a session.
Rachel F.
These bags are huge, in a good way. I got two of these as gifts for my party members and stuffed them with goodies. I know my party members have a lot of D&D stuff but I have no doubt that these will hold it all. They are well constructed and have many nice compartments for all your D&D accessories.
Tom L.
This thing is great and it's aptly named. There are so many pockets. There's a pouch on the inside against the back of the bag that's great for folders or a laptop, plenty of room in the bag, a pouch on the inside to the front (see photo) perfect for my dice bag, a pouch that can flip up between the bag contents and the lid (so you can have pencils that won't get smashed by a dozen books). 10/10 would recommend
John H.
Awesome bag. It's huge!
Linda H.
Worth every penny! This thing is larger and sturdier than I could have imagined. Perfect for the player on the go.
Donald S.
I have been looking for a large back pack to carry my miniatures, books, dice, measuring tapes, snacks etc. to my weekly get together.
I must have a variety of back packs that I have bought over the years, but they have never seemed adequate to the task- involving extra boxes & bags because the stuff never fit on one container of holding.
I like the size of the bag of holding, the quality of the product is excellent and robust, and it has many places to hold various items for storage.
1 Bag of Holding does the job!
Thanks,
Don
Geraldine R.
I purchased this for my granddaughter who is a senior in high school and headed to college next year. She loves it!
Rachel B.
This is the handy haversack of your dreams. Your hoards person from acquisitions incorporated will delight in having their own bag come to life. Buckles are super cute but also magnets so getting into pockets is easy but will fool the rogue. Inside there’s loads of space plus additional pockets including a laptop/ tablet pouch (my 13” laptop fits)! Wonderful thick canvas bag. Quality stitching and material. Perfect for a weekend of adventuring!
Carol M.
It is a Christmas gift so I do not know how she likes it yet. Shipping was good. Quality looks good. Would have liked a couple of color choices.
Abigail N.
A really awesome bag for a decent price!
Shelley A.
Wow! Can not believe the beautiful quality of this bag! I can’t wait to give it to my son for Xmas.
Kelly S.
It’s a gift for my son. I think he’ll love it!
Todd R.
Great quality, looks cool and includes snaps to make it easy to use. Very capable and fits the theme! Love this back pack.
Sakura T.
It is made of "fireman's hose" type canvas- super strong. The seams look double (or more) stitched. It is bigger than your normal canvas knapsack style backpack- much roomier, will easily hold all the books shown in the advertising pic, plus many sets of dice and minis, pens and pencils, clipboard and notepads.
Joette B.
The stories are true you can fit so much in this thing! Just for fun I loaded it up with all my books and it fit 12. 12! I have about 10 books, a binder, a notebook, a room and the Raven DM book, two pencil pouches, a stack of index cards, two dice pouches (full), a small box of dice, a tin and bag of minis, and honesty I'm not sure what else I may have put in this bad boy. I almost don't know what to do with all the space. 15/10 best D&D purchase ever.
SEAN F.
The backpack itself is cavernous, and then it just has more pockets than a beholder has eyes. Made from a soft denim it seems. It has leather and metal accents and buckles. The buckles are functional but are meant for show, since the mounts for them are magnets. Pretty strong backpack straps, though they look like they might tear at the seams one day with the obscene number of books and things I keep in it. The top has a nice cinch in addition with the backpack flap-over with the securing straps. In all, I love this thing. If this was D&D, I would definitely equip this and keep a spare couple in a proper bag of holding for future use.
Jacob V.
Love it, it has so much room showed it to a few friends one of them now wants to get one
Joshua W.
With the amount of my items I carry for each of my sessions and still room to spare, I’ve finally found the ultimate bag of holding. Strong materials, sturdy construction, and beautiful design for the trackers look and feel. 10/10, will continue to recommend to every one of my fellow adventurers.
Michael H.
Very sturdy backpack! Plenty of room for everything I need. Looks awesome too!
Scott C.
This bag is exactly what I was looking for in a gaming bag. Looks and feels just as durable as my messanger style bag of holding.
Theodore G J.
This thing can fit a ton of stuff!
Sarah D.
The backpack arrived in the mail even quicker than I expected, and it's very spacious and sturdy. I can't wait for the pandemic to be over with so I can go back to gaming in person and bring my books and gear in it!
Brittnee G.
I got it for my husband because he’s always trying to find the right bag to use. It is so massive and so many pockets, I love the size and how many pockets there are. It’s just amazing and beautiful.
KC
I'd been hunting for a nice bag that could fit all my D&D stuff AND my laptop so I wasn't carrying around 3+ bags, and was fully prepared to send this thing back if it all didn't fit. Before I even had the bag unfolded I knew I had made one of the best purchases of my life. This thing is MASSIVE, and the quality is beautiful. My giant heavy 18" laptop slides right in room to spare above it. On top of that I have my handbook, DM screen, clipboard, folder, 2 notebooks, a d20collective dice bag stuffed full, two zipper bags with pens, about 6 chessex dice containers and 2 metal dice containers stuffed in this thing and I could probably double or triple the contents before the thing was too full to close. The only thing it doesn't offset is the weight of all your crap LOL. Pictures don't do the bag justice. This was a 10/10 purchase, can't wait to use it!!
Jennifer B.
Although I would personally prefer a more neutral shade of brown (this is a little on the yellow side for my taste), the capacious interior and plethora of pockets is exactly as advertised, and I ADORE the abundance of buckled leather straps. The construction appears to be sturdy--I'm rough on my bags, so only time will tell, but I think this backpack will see me through many adventures.
Lonnie S.
Well constructed, heavy duty material - I love this pack. I can't wait to be able to use it more!
James L.
I love all the storage and everything you guys should just put bag of holding on the backpack itself other than that it’s flawless
Casey U.
It took little under a month to ship but arrived only a few days after. This thing is huuugggeee and along with fitting my binders and journals fit an entire blanket my friend made me. Pockets fit all my drinks and trinkets with ease. You could fit a goblin in the thing but I wouldn't recommend it. They steal your dice.
Brian S.
Surprisingly roomy.
Lauren M.
The backpack itself is nice. It took about three months to arrive (Australia) and then only after I chased the order several times. Add to this the approximately 30% extra cost for that awful shipping experience, and I just don't think it was worth it overall.
Dave M.
Loved it so much I bought a second one , I only wish I had waited until it went on sale. But what are you going to do. I still have the coolest bag in my group.
Angela M.
I had been looking for this product for months, and I was so excited to finally get it. So many pockets, my books all fit perfectly, and now I have places for my dice, my status rings, my pencils, my holy symbol of Bahamut, and all our game night sweets! Plus, I look like a real adventurer wearing it!
Joshua A.
So many pockets. It really is a bag of holding, you can fit so much into it.
On top of that it’s a stylish bag with lovely leather straps
10/10
Alberto G.
I love how the bag looks like something that represents a bag you might find across an old adventurer, yet it doesn't inconvenience me at all to open with the magnetic buttons. It truly earned the title bag of holding as well, as *slaps top of bag* I can fit so many books into this baby.
Gabrielle B.
Person tested. Dog approved.
But really, the bag holds everything. And the pockets are amazing. It fits everything I need.
Extra bonus: the outside pockets are capable of holding your favorite carbonated beverage.
My only small complaint, it holds so much it sometimes is hard to fit in my way too narrow work locker, but that’s more on the locker than the Bag Of Holding.
